  4. for Scientific Research in Paris, a former Roman Catholic
  5. priest, is dragging his feet on publication of some of the Dead
  6. Sea Scrolls (RELIGION, Aug. 14). Could the real reason be that
  7. the texts undermine traditional Christian dogmas?

  11.     It is sad that, apparently because of their egos, so-called
  12. scholars have withheld information that is possibly very
  13. important to both Christians and Jews. The Dead Sea Scrolls
  14. should all be made available, and people allowed to come to
  15. their own conclusions.
